iA recently founded company working on the field of Space and high-reliability electronics design and radiation hardness qualification.
MAPRad is based on the experience of several years within scientific space projects involving highly qualified electronics and mechanical engineers as well as high energy physicists. The company mission is to develop electronic systems based on COTS using screening procedures, design strategies and qualification tests (radiation, MTTF, environmental tests) to enhance the reliability of the resulting electronic system. Thanks to close cooperation with partner companies MAPRad offers qualification tests to military (i.e. MIL-STD 810) and industrial standards for mechanical (vibration, acceleration and shock) and thermovacuum tests of parts or systems.

Company profile 
The name Angelantoni has always been synonymous with advanced cold technology in both research and industry.
Angelantoni Industrie’s origin dates back to 1932 when the first cooling systems were manufactured at the Milan factory.
In 1952 the production of environmental chambers for temperature and humidity started, rapidly followed by the first temperature-vacuum chamber in 1953. The results of the research of those years are some patented techniques still used in the cooling plant equipment of today.
